Dr Vishakha Shivdasani is a medical doctor with a fellowship in Nutrition. She specialises in treating lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and obesity. She practices lifestyle medicine and wellness using her expertise to combine both modern medicine and nutrition to treat lifestyle ailments.

Her forte is that she does not count calories but teaches food combinations and looks at overall wellness with a close focus on blood parameters, specially hormones. She is a keen reader and is interested only in scientific and 'evidence based medicine' and practices as such.

She has been a monthly columnist with the national newspaper Mint for seven years where she had a column on wellness. She writes and is interviewed regularly by Vogue, Elle, HT, NDTV, Mid Day, among others.

She has been named as a top wellness influencer of India by Vogue.

She has two clinics in Mumbai—in Cuffe Parade and Bandra and does online consults for her patients across the world.

She is also passionate about teaching wellness and conducts corporate workshops on 'workplace wellness'.

She gets invited nationally and internationally as a wellness influencer as well as to see patients. She is the recipient of 'the best nutritionist of the year award' by Vogue in 2017.

She has also been: A jury member of India's 1st Restaurant awards by Conde Naste Traveller 2018.
